Sawtry Beauty Training Clinic
1. Booking Your Course
Your training place is not secured until full payment has been received.
Once payment has been received, your booking confirmation and relevant course information will be sent to you by email.
By booking and paying for a course, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Training Terms & Conditions.
2. Payment
All course fees must be paid in full at the time of booking, unless an approved payment or finance arrangement has been made through Faces.
Where payment or finance is provided through a third party, their own eligibility requirements and terms and conditions will also apply.
3. Refunds
Once a course has been booked, confirmed, and paid for, course fees are nonrefundable, except where your statutory rights apply.
Discounted, promotional, and specially priced training courses are also non-refundable once booked, subject to your statutory rights.
4. Changing or Postponing Your Course Date
If you need to change or postpone your training date, you must contact Sawtry Beauty Training Clinic by email at least 7 working days before your course date.
All requests must be made in writing to:
allportamanda44@gmail.com
Where a change is agreed, a student may change their course date a maximum of two times.
Alternative dates are subject to availability, and we cannot guarantee that a particular requested date will be available.
If you cancel or request to postpone your course less than 48 hours before your training date, your course fee may be lost unless there are exceptional circumstances and suitable supporting evidence can be provided.
Failure to attend your course without notice will be treated as a cancellation, and no refund will be given, subject to your statutory rights.
5. Late Arrival
Please arrive at the agreed time for your course.
If you are running late, please contact Amanda as soon as possible.
Significant lateness may mean that there is not enough time to safely complete all of the required theory or practical training.
Where this happens, another training date may need to be arranged and an additional fee may apply.
6. If We Need to Change or Cancel a Course
Occasionally, Sawtry Beauty Training Clinic may need to change or postpone a training date because of illness, equipment failure, model availability, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where possible, an alternative training date will be offered.
If we cancel a course and cannot provide a suitable alternative, any course fee due to be refunded will be dealt with in accordance with your statutory rights.
Sawtry Beauty Training Clinic cannot be responsible for additional expenses such as travel, accommodation, or loss of earnings resulting from a course being changed or postponed, except where the law requires otherwise.
7. Course Manuals & Pre-Course Learning
Where applicable, your course manual will be emailed to you before your training day.
Students should bring:
- pens and a notepad
- any notes they have already made
- any questions they would like to discuss with Amanda
Where pre-course reading, study, or paperwork is required, students should complete this as instructed before attending.
8. Practical Training & Models
Practical learning is an important part of our training.
Students will have the opportunity to watch Amanda demonstrate the treatment step by step before carrying out supervised practical work where appropriate.
Depending on the course, students may initially practice techniques on a suitable training surface before progressing to live models.
Model arrangements may vary depending on the course, and model availability cannot always be guaranteed.
9. Health, Safety & Contraindications
Students must follow all health, safety, infection-control, and hygiene instructions given during training.
Any medical condition, allergy, injury, pregnancy, or other circumstance that may affect your ability to participate safely should be disclosed before your training date.
Sawtry Beauty Training Clinic reserves the right to prevent a student from carrying out any activity where it would be unsafe or inappropriate to continue.
10. Student Conduct
We aim to provide a professional, friendly, and supportive learning environment.
Students are expected to behave respectfully towards Amanda, models, other students, and anyone else within the clinic.
Abusive, aggressive, discriminatory, disruptive, or unsafe behaviour will not be accepted and may result in the student being asked to leave the course.
11. Small Group Training
Our training courses are normally delivered on a 1:1 or 1:2 basis, with a maximum of two students training at any one time.
This allows plenty of opportunities to ask questions, watch demonstrations, practise techniques and receive individual guidance.
12. Reasonable Adjustments & Learning Support
Please let us know before your course if you have a learning need or require reasonable adjustments.
Being dyslexic herself, Amanda understands that everyone learns differently and that sometimes information needs to be explained or demonstrated more than once.
Please never worry about asking questions. Where appropriate, students will be able to repeat techniques as many times as reasonably needed during the available training time.
13. Certification
Certificates will only be issued once the required elements of the course have been successfully completed.
Depending on the course, this may include theory, practical training, assessment, case studies, coursework or required attendance.
14. CPD Training
Where a course is advertised as CPD accredited, students who successfully complete the required course elements will receive the appropriate CPD certification.
A CPD course is not the same as a regulated qualification.
Completion of a CPD course does not automatically guarantee entry onto a regulated qualification or automatically guarantee that an insurer, employer, licensing authority or other organisation will accept the certificate.
15. Progression to Qualifi Qualifications
For some students, CPD training may support progression towards further study, including Qualifi qualifications.
Progression will depend on factors including previous qualifications, experience, course entry requirements and the requirements of the qualification provider.
Completion of one of our CPD courses does not guarantee entry onto a Qualifi qualification.
16. Insurance
Students are responsible for making sure that they have suitable professional insurance in place before carrying out treatments independently following their training.
Sawtry Beauty Training Clinic can offer guidance and assistance with finding suitable insurance providers and understanding what information an insurer may require.
Acceptance of a qualification or CPD certificate remains at the discretion of the individual insurance provider.
If you are unsure about insurance requirements, please ask Amanda for assistance before or after your course.
17. Machines, Products & Techniques
Different manufacturers and clinics may use different machines, products, settings and treatment protocols.
Training will therefore cover the principles of safe treatment alongside the equipment and products being used during the course.
Students must always follow the manufacturer’s instructions and guidance for the particular equipment or products they use in their own practice.
18. Refresher Training
Refresher training is available for most treatments — please ask.
This may be suitable if you are already trained but have not carried out a treatment for some time, would like additional supervised practice, want to refresh your technique or need help becoming familiar with a particular machine.
Availability and fees will depend on the treatment and the individual student’s requirements.
19. Marketing Support
During training, Amanda may share practical marketing ideas and useful marketing nuggets to help students think about how they may promote their new treatment.
Sawtry Beauty Training Clinic also offers separate marketing coaching for students who would like additional support.
Marketing information is provided as guidance only, and no particular level of clients, income or business success can be guaranteed.
20. Support After Your Course
Our support does not finish when your training day ends.
Students will have access to Amanda for appropriate post-course support and may also be invited to join a WhatsApp support group, where they can ask questions, share their progress and seek guidance following their training.
21. Photography & Social Media
Photographs or videos may occasionally be taken during training.
Permission will be requested before identifiable photographs or recordings of a student are used for marketing, advertising or social media purposes.
Students can choose not to appear in promotional photographs or videos.
22. Personal Information
Personal information collected when you enquire, book or attend training will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data-protection requirements.
23. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of your training, please contact us as soon as possible so that we have an opportunity to investigate and address your concerns.
Complaints should be made in writing by email to:
allportamanda44@gmail.com
24. Acceptance of These Terms
